Please read carefully through the following Disinfection agreement. By allowing your PC to be disinfected by any member of the PC Disinfection team or accepting technical support from a PC Disinfection member, you explicitly agree to be bound by the conditions of this agreement. If you do not accept the conditions of this agreement you will not have the PC Disinfected by the PC Disinfection team.
1. The PC Disinfection team often uses third party software to clean and remove viruses and other forms of malware or security threats from the computer. The software that will be installed, loaded into memory and run accordingly is in some cases freeware with distribution rights allowing users to pass on the software to another person or user.
2. Third-party software may be installed and removed from any machine after use. However you must first agree to the installation of any software that will remain on the machine even after PC Disinfection. The terms and conditions of this software will be provided and you must also accept the conditions of the third-party software installation and use.
3. Therefore PC Disinfection will accept no responsibility for any special, indirect, incidental or consequential damages, technical malfunction, injury, loss of profit and earnings, performance impairment, loss of data, cost of repairs, and violation of third-party industrial property rights.
4. PC Disinfection also exclude ourselves from any legal proceedings or lawful commitments unless we act with intent or gross negligence.
5. No liability is accepted in respect to the suitability of the software installed for the disinfection purposes and it’s compatibility with your existing software.
6. Due to the dislocation of any commitments to you and third-party software, PC Disinfection ensures no warranty claims.
7. Compensation for damages such as loss of profit, cost of repairs or any other monetary costs related to PC Disinfection are excluded in all cases with the exception of those cases as mentioned in clause 4.
8. You must also agree that you have made recent back-ups of data on the PC should the malware, removal or installation of software corrupt, delete or otherwise impair the data already stored on the machine. If this is not upheld then any loss of data is explicitly not the fault of PC Disinfection.
9. Any computers on a network or linked to any LAN (Local Area Network), VPN (Virtual Private Network) or any other network whereby computers depend on each other to function or share access shall by default not have PC Disinfection provide any solutions or technical work. Should you require PC Disinfection to remove malware or fix any issues on a networked PC, you must explicitly agree to remove liability of any network dysfunction or that mentioned in clause 3.
10. It is important to abide by the End-User-License-Agreement (EULA) provided by the software developers of any data or applications on your computer, which may be effected by the disinfection provided by PC Disinfection.
Agreeing to these terms and conditions indicates your willingness to assume responsibility and acceptance of any work done by PC Disinfection providing we work to the best of our ability and technical knowledge and skills with no intent or gross negligence.
